Аннотация: This paper investigates stability of the Casson fluid flow in an inclined porous channel including the impact of radiation and chemical reaction. The Darcy–Brinkman model is used to characterize fluid flow dynamics in porous medium. The analytical solutions are obtained for the unidirectional and completely developed flow. Utilizing normal mode analysis, we solve the perturbed state’s generalized eigenvalue problem. The eigenvalue problem is then solved using the spectral method. For different values of Darcy number, inclination angle, radiation parameter, and chemical reaction parameter, critical Rayleigh number and critical wavenumber are calculated and shown graphically. The impact of these parameters on the flow instability is analysed. An increase in the Prandtl number, Darcy number, and porosity is observed to improve system stability, whereas the inclination of the channel, radiation and chemical reaction parameters destabilise the flow. When channel is positioned vertically, the flow is most unstable.
