Аннотация: Reexamination of crystal structure of five-mercury anticrown [(CF3)2CHg]5 revealed that instead of the previous definition as a co-crystal of this anticrown with water and pyridine {[(CF3)2CHg]5}·2 Py·2H2O, the compound actually represented its bipyramidal dichloride complex, (PyH)2{[(CF3)2CHg]5}Cl2. Treating it with lead(II) benzoate gave pyramidal monochloride complex (PyH){[(CF3)2CHg]5}Cl.
