Аннотация:
In the first part of the talk, I will briefly recall some knowledge of mapping class group of high dimensional manifolds. Then I will present our computation of the mapping class group of certain complex 3-dimensional algebraic varieties — complete intersections. Similar to the classical mapping class group of surfaces, the results will be helpful in understanding the moduli space of structures on these manifolds. This is a joint work with Matthias Kreck from the University of Bonn.
