Abstract:
In this talk we discuss the properties of three-dimensional black hole solutions in the case of electric charge in the Einstein-Maxwell model. We note that for black holes of this type the third law of thermodynamics is violated due to the presence of electric charge, which provides singular behavior. A duality is established for the case of extremal black hole/Bose gas, under special constraints on the charge and cosmological constant. This constraint provides a quantum statistical description of black hole entropy.
