Abstract: In this talk we discuss the properties of three-dimensional black hole solutions for the case without charge and rotation. We note that for black holes of this type the third law of thermodynamics is satisfied. A duality between the black hole and Bose gas is established. This duality provides a quantum statistical description of black hole entropy and allows us to estimate the cosmological constant in terms of Planck's constant and the size of the Bose gas box. |
