Abstract: While the description of the first order neutral points of a divergence-free vector field is presented in the literature with respect to studying the structure of magnetic fields on the Sun, a problem of the description of the higher order neutral points is much more difficult. Considering an example of a potential magnetic field we simplify the problem by an appropriate choice of functions for a series expansion of the potential. |
