Аннотация: I will talk about the work of Roman Travkin in which he established “generic” quantum geometric Langlands duality over fields of positive characteristic for the group $GL(n)$. Time permitting I will present some speculations on the relation of this work to the nonabelian Hodge theory of C. Simpson and higher Teichmuller theory of V. Fock and A. Goncharov.
