Dissipative dynamics of quantum coherence in a multiple spin system

Ilya Lazarev

Abstract: We consider the multiquantum (MQ) dynamics of a gas consisting of spin-carrying molecules with $s = 1/2$ under nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) conditions. Initially, the gas in nanopores is thermalized at low temperature. We describe the dynamics of the spin system using the Lindblad equation, which takes into account the spin dephasing due to their interaction with the cavity walls. We present the intensity distribution of MQ NMR coherences at high and low temperatures with different decay rates in a system of 51 spins. For a three-spin system, we present an analytical solution. Using the second moment of MQ NMR coherences, we investigate the dependence of the lower bound for the number of entangled spins on temperature and decay rate.
