Abstract: I will discuss a new formulation of sigma models with complex homogeneous target spaces (such as CP^n) in terms of algebraic variables, which establishes the equivalence of such sigma models with generalized Gross-Neveu models. Topics covered will include the SUSY setup, calculation of the beta-function, as well as applications to quantum mechanics. Language: English |
