Sobolev institute of mathematics and the Mathematical Center in Akademgorodok are holding in Novosibirsk from October 23 to October 29, 2022 the International Conference on Geometric Analysis, dedicated to the memory of Academician Yuri Grigorievich Reshetnyak (09/26/1929–12/17/2021). The scientific interests of Yu. G. Reshetnyak cover an extremely wide range of issues of modern mathematics. He owns fundamental results in geometry, the theory of functions, in the field of classical calculus of variations and in a number of other branches of modern mathematics, occupying a borderline place between analysis and geometry.
