International Workshop "Mathematical Hydrodynamics" (June 12–17, 2006, Moscow)
The Steklov Mathematical Institute in cooperation with the Lomonosov Moscow State University is organizing an International Workshop on Mathematical Hydrodynamics, in Moscow, June 12–17, 2006.
The workshop will cover recent research advances in the theory of both viscous and inviscid fluids, including the study of the Euler equations, the Navier–Stokes equations and the equations, governing the evolution of waves on the surface of fluids. The meeting will include leading senior researchers in this area and younger scientists, and will attempt not only to cover past research accomplishments but point out new directions of investigation.
