A method of constructing computational meshes in domains with curvilinear boundaries

Abstract: A new efficient algorithm, called the “elastic-web method”, is described for constructing computational meshes in domains with curvilinear boundaries. It amounts to solving two dirichlet problems with the same linear five-point elliptic operator, difined on a regular difference mesh in a rectangular domain.
