Abstract: An inverse coefficient problem for a mathematical model of sorption dynamics is considered. The inverse problem is reduced to nonlinear operator equations with respect to the unknown function. These equations are used to construct and justify the convergence of iterative methods for solving the inverse problem. Examples of applying the proposed iterative methods to numerically solving the inverse problem are given.
