Abstract:
A simple method is proposed for synthesizing a control in the problem of driving a linear nonstationary system from its initial state to equilibrium. The sought control is found analytically using a “natural” basis of the linear system. It is shown that the singularity of the controllability matrix is related to the existence of invariants and linear relationships between the state variables.
Key words:controllability criterion, natural basis, feedback, Riccati equation, decomposition, invariants of the system.
