A parallel algorithm for market basket analysis on the Cell processor

Abstract: The paper is devoted to solving market-basket analysis problem of data mining. We describe a parallel algorithm adapted for the Cell Broadband Engine architecture. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
