Abstract:
Two methods of crystals of potassium-gadolinium tungstate doped with neodymium $\mathrm{KGd(WO_4)_2:Nd^{3+}}$ reinforcement are considered. One method is shown at a low concentration of impurities and is based on the dislocation mechanism, another one is associated with the formation of lamellar substructure and is shown in crystals with high concentration of impurities. The change in hardness of crystals, depending on the concentration of impurities, is investigated.
