Abstract: The kinetic model of phase transformation in loaded nonlinear-elastic solids is considered under finite strains. The model is based on the Landau–Ginzburg theory of phase transformations. The mode of deformation and phase state of isothermally loaded solids are analyzed for the case of plane strain. Some results of computations are presented. It is shown that the stationary inhomogeneous phase state may take place near holes.

Keywords: phase transformation, nonlinear elasticity, finite strains, holes.
