Abstract:
Influence of pulsations on the flow in a trace is investigated. Fields of actual and pulsation velocities are presented for the case of a flow of a viscous incompressible liquid along plates mounted orthogonally to the direction of the flow and with an inclination to it. Numerical modeling is carried out by the Navier–Stokes and Reynolds equations together with the equations for pulsations. The connection between the dimensionless period of averaging and scales of random perturbations of velocities in an external stream is established.
