Abstract:
Hydrodynamics and homogenization process of a mixture of high-concentrated granular medium in a vertical tapered channel using rheological model of fluid are investigated. The model invokes a specific independent empirical coefficient taking into account the slip of particles on a solid surface. The resulting velocity profile based on the model is compared with experimental data. Modeling of the process of granular medium homogenization on the base of the computed velocity field is presented.
