Abstract: Mathematical model of the thermal processes existing in a rotor of the spherical asynchronous engine under the influence of internal sources of heat was developed. Analytical model of the process is introduced, allowing solving problems of definition of limiting thermal modes of the engine and well adapted for searching procedures of design optimization problems.

Keywords: whirling currents, magnetic vector potential, calorific potential.
