Abstract:
This work is focused on flat Möbius strips. The first section presents some results related to asymptotic parametrization of such surfaces. The second section contains studies on thier deflectivity. It is proved that any analytic embedding of a rectangular strip into the Euclidian 3-space is a flexible surface. This result is illustrated by numerical examples.
