Abstract: The subject of this paper is to determine the reasons for resulting noises in output records of three video tracking systems — Qualisys Oqus, Vicon Bonita, and ARTTRACK2. Noise static and kinematic components are conventionally distinguished and their parameters are proposed to identify by comparison with model movements. Evaluation of these three systems leads to the conclusion on their satisfactory quality in the registration of tracking movements with velocity up to 6 m/s and with impact interactions with a surrounding medium. The obtained noise samples are also used to compare these video tracking systems.

Key words: arm movement, movement video tracking, noise.
