Approximate analytical solution to the transcendental equation describing the heat dissipation of a gas bubble pulsating in liquid

Abstract:
A method of approximate solution of characteristic equation describing the heat dissipation during oscillations of bubbles in a liquid is presented in this article. An analytic formula for damping decrement is derived.
