Levitation of a drop with double layer charge in an electric field and a fireball under thundercloud

Abstract: Taking gravity force into account, the article researches the problem of dynamic drop levitation with surface double electric layer charge in vertical electric field. Basing on this problem generalization, the authors consider a new electrocapillary model variant of ball lightning in the kind of spherical Hicks vortex being in a state of quasi-zero gravity at the certain levitation height level and moving under the tangent electric field action under the thundercloud.
