Stability of reinforced toroidal panels under external radial pressure

Abstract: In considering the stability as in the title we use the Newton–Raffson method for solving the nonlinear stability equations for a toroidal shell. We also study the influence of the support on the magnitude of the critical load and the shape of the deflection.
