Abstract: An algorithm of forming the smooth trajectories corresponding to telemetric data on coordinates and orientation angles of a vehicle that contains a strapdown inertial navigation system (SINS) is proposed. An algorithm of forming the ideal gyros measurements corresponding to the generated smooth trajectory is developed. These algorithms allow one to analyze the accuracy of various numerical methods of SINS orientation determination for the motions close to the real motions whose telemetric data are known.

Key words: strapdown inertial navigation system, angular rate sensors, model equations.
