Abstract:
A numerical algorithm allowing the parallelization on the stage of space-variable decomposition is developed for the analysis of elasto-plastic shock wave propagation in a granular medium under small strains. The algorithm is
implemented in Fortran 90 with the use of MPI library. Two-dimensional computations of shock waves in laminated and block bodies were carried out on a multiprocessor computer system MVS-1000M; the numerical results obtained demonstrate the efficiency of the parallel algorithm application.
