Abstract:
The nature of intrinsic luminescence and electron-hole trapping centers in LiKSO$_{4}$, LiNaSO$_{4}$ and Li$_{2}$SO$_{4}$ under excitation by photons with energies 4 $\div$ 12.4 eV at temperatures 15 $\div$ 300 K are investigated using vacuum ultraviolet and thermo-activated spectroscopy methods. The minimum energy of lithium-containing sulfates of mixed alkali metals is estimated creating intrinsic luminescence and electron-hole trapping centers. Based on the measurement of the excitation spectra, electronic transitions from the valence band to the conduction band for LiKSO$_{4}$, LiNaSO$_{4}$, and Li$_{2}$SO$_{4}$ were identified.
