Abstract:
The system analysis of sorting railway station’s technological work is carried out on the basis of the method "tree of objectives". The most important objectives, arising during the station’s operating, are revealed, and their place in transportation process is shown in the paper. The most significant component is expectation of "needed" cars. Thus, for its reduction it is necessary to ensure trains sorting in such a manner that the deliverance of cars from assemblage would be maximal. It is shown that time reduction of train breaking up is in reserve to increase the efficiency of sorting station’s work. In order to reduce idle time of trains in expectation of departure, train breaking up should be done in such a manner that the disengaged cars from assemblage, were formed in trains and at once sent, i. e. it is necessary to connect it with the diagram of trains goods traffic.
