Some characteristics and trends of applied mathematical training for students learning IT-specialities at technical university

Abstract: Comparative analysis of teaching a mathematical discipline for a couple of IT-specialities is carried out. The scheme of educational material description for its easy practical using is described. Trends shown by students’ results are analyzed. Advantages of project teaching method using for labs are considered. Some directions of development of mathematical education in technical university are marked out.
