Abstract:
The paper deals with the methodological basis and the means for numerically analyzing deformation and failure processes of materials and structures subject to quasistatic thermal stress and thermal radiation effects. Models describing the main effects of elastic-viscoplastic deformation and damage accumulation in structural materials are introduced. The problem statements and basic equations for the FEM-based analysis of the deformation and failure processes of structures under quasistatic thermal stress and thermal radiation loading using the suggested models are presented. The architecture and functional capabilities of the modern software tools for the realization of the developed methodological projects are discussed.
