Abstract:
The signals of free polarization decay on a background of transient optical nutations, as well as the photon echo and the stimulated photon echo, which are generated in $^{13}$CH$_3$F gas by the method of Stark switching of levels, are investigated. The values of the homogeneous broadening $\Gamma/p$ are obtained for different gas pressures on the basis of the kinetics of the photon echo and the stimulated photon echo signals.
