Beat-Wave Signal at the Parametric Light Amplification

Abstract: The paper views the impact of the signal beat-wave on the process of light parametric amplification. As a result of numerical investigation, the potential of high effective pulse compression simultaneously with frequency down conversion is found under certain system conditions. The dependence of the final impulse shape on the character of the initial beat-wave is analyzed.
