All-optical beams control in defocusing photorefractive crystals

Abstract: We first consider nonlinear reflection of a weak tilted optical wave from a power laser beam in defocusing photorefractive crystals like LiNbO$_{3}$. The theoretical model is developed. Media and beams parameters yielded reflection in the case of pump beam defocusing are found. Theoretical results are confirmed by numerical simulation.
