Abstract:
The paper presents the results of recent numerous discussions about problems of secondary and high education. The general state-of-art analysis is given for education in physics and mathematics from the point of view the general reform of education. Also the tendencies and changes in this field are traced for last 40–50 years. The peculiarities of education systems in a number of leading countries are compared with that in Russia. The key problems of the secondary and high education in Russia are formulated and some approaches for their resolving are proposed.
