Abstract:
The advisability of application of ring testing with different periods for combination schemes is considered by means of confidence estimation. Particularly the dependence of confidence on period is investigated in details. The corresponding formulas for confidence estimation are derived for the shortened and arbitrary periods. The obtained theoretical results for some combination schemes are checked by means of the computer — aided design tool MAX+plusII.
