The behaviour of the wave field at the breakdown of the "gramophone’’ type caustic into two "cusps’’

Abstract: The homogeneous approximation of the field in the presence of "gramophone’’ type Caustic has been constructed. It has been shown that at the deformation of the spherical mirror the gramophone type caustic breaks down into two "cusps’’.
