Improving the efficiency of NC programming by means of application of modules created with NX Open library

Abstract: The paper proposes a logical and component architecture of a single information system for NC programming. A database of cutting tools is built and a software module is developed for database management, assembling and building of the instrumental assembly in Siemens NX. The introduction of the system will simplify the actions of NC programming engineers to enter the parameters of the cutting tool when NC programming, as well as eliminate errors when entering the parameters of the cutting tool.
