Simulation of the process of cutting gears by worm-modular cutters in the Siemens NX system

Abstract: The paper discusses the possibility of computer-aided design of modular hob cutters using the Siemens NX system. The proposed design technique will optimize the geometry and design of the cutter, taking into account the accuracy of the cut gears.
