Abstract:
The paper provides an overview of research and results of the author and his colleagues at Duke University (North Carolina, USA) in the field of research on aging based on stochastic models and analysis of longitudinal data. The author also describes current directions of research on evaluation of genetic and non-genetic determinants of aging, longevity, and healthy life span, as well as future prospects in this research area, are described.
