Abstract: The information currently available on the properties and interactions of van der Waals molecules is reviewed. Methods for producing and detecting these molecules are discussed. The properties of van der Waals molecules found from measurements of the rotational spectra of molecules by the method of molecular-beam electric resonance spectroscopy are reported. The photoionization and photodissociation of van der Waals molecules are analyzed.
