Abstract:
This paper reviews experimental and theoretical work on the study of the Fermi surface of pure metals by the aid of high-frequency size effects. Particular attention is given to little-known new ballistic effects such as the time of flight effect, multichannel size effect, and nonlinear size effect.
Keywords:Fermi surface of metals, radio-frequency size effect, time-of-flight effect, nonlinear size effect, multichannel surface scattering, pure metals.
