Abstract: We describe the specific features of agricultural insurance. A mathematical model for the multi-risk insurance is developed. An agricultural firm mathematical model is developed and the effect of insurance is investigated depending on the degree of government participation. We also discuss the procedure of negotiation between participants of the insurance operation: agricultural firms, insurance companies and the government.
