Abstract:
This paper is devoted to the problem of the boiler system control. This problem solution is based on the technique of closed-loop pole placement in given LMI region of the complex plain, as well as $H_\infty$-loop shaping using LMI. Closed-loop performance requirements are established in form of both frequency-domain constraints onto the singular values of open-loop transfer function and constraints onto closed-loop pole placement at the complex plain. The designed full-order $H_\infty$ controller is reduced via balanced truncation technique.
