Reducing costs of construction of value function using decision rules of criteria im-portance theory as compared with tradi-tional approach of utility theory
Abstract:
According to the results of a computational experiment using decision rules of criteria importance theory can reduce 2–5 times the time spent on constructing a value function compared with a traditional approach of utility theory. For the case of two-variant and two-criterion choice the theorem is proved to quantify how many times criteria importance theory allows to reduce the proportion of cases when the value must be constructed.
