A mathematical/informational model for substantiating levels of border security

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to consider a mathematical/informational model for determining the criterion of effectiveness of the state border's safeguarding – the expectation of prevented damage. This model can also be used to predict the intensity of border violations.
