Game-theoretical model of non-anonymous threshold conformity behavior

V. Breer

Institute of Control Sciences of RAS

Abstract: The game-theoretical model of non-anonymous threshold conformity behavior is studied for binary players’ action sets. Non-anonymity implies different degree of trust of a player to her neighbors. Brief analysis of conformity and autonomy notions is presented and the game-theoretical threshold model is built which describes controversy of conformity and autonomy. Nash equilibria, which characterize conformity behavior, are singled out. Characteristics of Nash equilibriums of the considered model are investigated and the structure of these equilibria is described.

Keywords: game-theoretical models, conformity behavior, non-anonymity, threshold models, Nash equilibrium, multidimensional knapsack problem.
