Economic problems of air transportation network development in under-populated Russian regions

Abstract: The paper is devoted to specific problems of air transportation network development in regions with low density of population. The influence of low population density on the duration and the cost of air transportation is studied. A complex of organizational, technological decisions and government support decisions aimed at raise of air transportation affordability for under-populated regions' population is suggested.
