Econometric modeling of social and economic development of Russian regions

Abstract: The article is devoted to econometric modeling of level of social and economic development of 79 Russian Federation regions with application of models of the panel data. Basic general factors influencing the level of regional development of each considered subject are revealed. Subjects of the Russian Federation arranged by the potential of development. The most and the least safe regions were revealed. Quantitative influence of non-observable factors for each region which is reflected in the individual fixed effect is revealed.
