Abstract:
Mass-transfer processes in heterogeneous media under intensive thermal stimulation are investigated. The structure of a capillary-porous material is simulated by rigid conic channels of convergent and divergent types. The viscous flow of vapor at temperatures above the boiling point of evaporating liquid is considered in a quasi-stationary approximation. Expressions for the rate of evaporation from axisymmetric capillaries of variable cross section are obtained in an analytical form. Results are given of estimation of the intensity of vaporization in channels of different types.
